The floor projections in the Design for Travel gallery show how design aspects of the transport network were influenced by Frank Pick.
Gathered archival material from personal sketchbooks, engineer diagrams, lantern slides, and posters is animated across the space, flowing from a portrait on the wall and drawing attention to specific cases. Sometimes one image takes over the entire space, and at others whole collections spill onto the gallery floor. This creates a dynamic, characterful show that leads people around the gallery.
